Aside from the costs of an application, will we incur further costs as licensees according to the Remote Gambling Bill?

Yes, according to the Remote Gambling Bill you will have to pay gambling levies (not to be confused with gambling tax). These have been fixed at 2% of Gross Gaming Revenues. This comprises 1.5% GGR which according to the Explanatory Notes of the Remote Gambling Bill are to be used to cover the costs and expenses of the Netherlands Gaming Authority, as well as 0.5% destined to be a contribution to a gambling addiction fund. The Bill also provides for the future possibility for the Minister of Security and Justice to impose a remittance of a minimum percentage of GGR to the benefit of sports, culture, social welfare, public health or other charities.
